With a more than 100-year history, Kitashoji is the sole sake brewery in Izumisano City and its two wooden sake warehouses were built in 1921 and 1925. The whole sake making process is done by hand. On weekdays, you can sample their sake, buy souvenirs and see the actual brewery for a fee.

Aozora-Ichiba is an open-air seafood market established by the local fishery co-op. You can buy fresh seafood here and enjoy them at the eat-in area. You can also find local specialty products. Here you can relax in the tranquility of nature and river flows. Tourists also visit to see the beautiful autumn leaves during the fall and the lush green leaves in the summer. This area has rich history as a place of spiritual training and meditation. Legend also has it that that during the era of Northern and Southern Courts, Masashige Kusunoki, a famous Japanese military commander, led his troops here to heal their injuries.
